Thankful for Wisdom

I have quite a few places to draw wisdom from.  And this is a good thing.  Getting all your info from one place can make things seem very one sided.  The older I get, the more comfortable that I am getting info from wildly different points of view.  Obviously Judaism teaches me a lot.  But Christianity has a lot of very valid ways of dealing with issues.  Buddhism and Hindi have been more recent additions to my wisdom library.  Check this out…

I know it’s hard – believe me!  I have a gal in my class.  She’s severely ADHD.  She was REALLY giving the class a rough time today.  She, and others like her, teach me patience on a daily basis.  I cannot change her medical condition, but I can change how I respond to her.  I ignore her behavior sometimes (or I’d never get anything done.) Other times, I start giving other kids attention for doing all the right things.  So you see, I’m not just talkin’ the talk.  I walk the walk everyday.  I do get frustrated with her.  I’m only human.  And so are you, sweet girl.  Keep your head up!  You can finish this!
