Keep Calm and No Sugar

I told you when I got back I’d start a new way of eating that did not include sugar.  Your aunt on your Dad’s side has now lost over 50 lbs.  I’m feeling so impressed by her that I want to do the same thing.  Plus, I know that sometimes, you are not able to have sugar and I guess its kind of my way of being close to you when I cannot do it any other way. I want you to be proud of me.  So yesterday, I cleaned out my cupboards and fridge.  Then, I went to Walmart to get supplies: fish/chicken, nuts, yogurt, apples, cinnamon, green lettuce etc…According to Dr. Phil’s 20/20 Diet, I’m to rid my body of sugar for five days before moving onto phase 2.  At this point, I introduce non chemical created sugar (like fruit) back into my body.  But for five days: no fat, no sugar, no alcohol, no bread, no pasta.  Day 1 was hard but I do feel like it’s working.  I enjoyed the nonfat Greek Yogurt I had for breakfast and I think it’s helping me with my acid reflux.  When you next see me, I’ll be a more fit person.  Yeah!  Thank you for loving me and giving me the strength and will to stay away from junk.  Just knowing that you are reading this helps.  And know too that my lack of eating sugar etc… is my way of silently standing with you.  : )
