Facts Are Stubborn Things

Our second president, John Adams was a teacher LONG before he became a lawyer, patriot and statesman.  He’s one of my favorite founding fathers. In this video clip, the lawyer, John Adams is defending the British soldiers who fired into the crowd during the Boston Massacre.  His arguments were so persuasive, the judge allowed the soldiers to go free.  He explains that “facts are stubborn things: you cannot ignore facts of you wish to be viewed as a rational man (or woman) in this world.  I believe he is right.
