Back to School Breaking News…

From what I can see, you may have missed a few important posts this summer.  So, here’s the FYI on the down low for my two favorite sketchyscribe owlets.

The top story today is that Purity turned the big 1-8.  And in honor of that historic event, I am prepared to GIVE her my car whenever she needs it/wants it. I will continue to drive this completely paid for vehicle until I hear from her.  No pressure.  I can drive it for years.  ☺️

The housewarming parties were a smashing success!  I’m still getting gift cards and buying last minute stuff to make the house beautiful for you when you can visit.  Yesterday, I bought serving bowls with a gift card I received from my singing partner, Dave. I also received a beautiful poster of the Eiffel Tower.  I put it in the second guest room in honor of you, Bea.  I know how you love Paris. ?

I did write a story for Purity’s birthday.  It’s called Happy Independence (Birth)Day!  There are five parts, so check it out.  There is also a very special birthday video. Watch it and know we were all wishing you well on your big day.

More good news: Now, you both have $500 dollars in your savings accounts. Grandma and I have put money in for birthdays, Christmases and Graduations.  So start thinking about what you are going to buy with all that money?!

FYI: Prudence Scattergoode has a YouTube channel.  So, even if you cannot see the website, you can see the videos she’s looking at and posting on the website from her You Tube channel. Just get onto YouTube and type in “Happy Birthday Purity” on the search line.  The first video up should say it belongs to Prudence Scattergoode. There are lots of cool videos on there: Purity’s birthday wishes, Bea’s birthday wishes, my flight in a helicopter over Big Bear.  Check it out! Use it when you don’t feel safe going on sketchyscribe.  Everyone does YouTube, right??!!

Big brother did NOT come visit this summer.  He’s been real busy working. I did run into Grandma Dot and Uncle Jay.  They miss you and love you both very much.

Grandma is getting her computer connected to the internet today.  So she’ll join us all online.  Yeah!

Aunt Bea has a new boyfriend and a new job.  I don’t know too many details yet, but I’ll try to find out.

Finally, just know how proud I am of you both.  Your inner strength and discipline to do what the parents want is good.  Respecting the parents is very important.  You ARE learning so much from this experience: what you want in life and what you do not. If/ when you can reach out I’ll do whatever I can to help you.  My door is open to you both for as long (or as short) as you have need of it.  I love you both so much! Xxoo
