Autumn is Here!

Yesterday was National Frappe Day!  I celebrated by having HALF of a Spiced Pumpkin Frappucino.

I’ve got a confession to make.  My – no sugar diet is just not happening.  Why? You don’t wanna know. But, I am going to go for a third attempt at this.  This time with some help. I’m seriously thinking of joining one of those transformational gyms.  You know, they kick your butt and take $500 for doing it.  The good news is if you lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks, you get your money back.  Plus, you get all kinds of incentives like a cool t-shirt to wear as you post about your success on Facebook.  I gotta do something different, you know what I’m saying.  I want you both to see me and go “WOW! You look so good!” I want you both to be proud of your big sister.  And I want to be proud of me too.

Today, I prepared for Parent-Teacher conferences.  But, I went out and shopped for a few birthday items.  Grandma and I are all set to celebrate Bea’s birthday next Sunday afternoon.  We are having Subway sandwiches, and cake.  If possible, I’m going to get this yummy orange drink from France called Orangina.  It kinda tastes like orange soda with more sparkling water. The plates are yellow for autumn but with French all over them.  There are lots of owls, of course.  France has owls too. There is a lovely flower garden beneath the Eiffel Tower too, so we’ll have all kinds of colorful flowers and leaves to celebrate you beautiful, Bea. Like a caterpillar transforms into a beautiful butterfly, I’m sure this autumn will transform you both into breathtakingly lovely young ladies.  Au Revoir!
