A Magical Mountain Day

Yes, we had one of those magical days with big sister in the mountains.  We listened to your favorite Christmas music CD all the way up the mountain.  When we got there, the snow was lightly falling.  It snowed like that all day.  It was like a winter wonderland.

Your big brother in the tearoom was a riot.  He struggled with the thought of eating those dainty little tea sandwiches. Knowing him as I do, I got him a menu and he ordered a roast beef sandwich.

They are talking about the wedding some: nothing soon, don’t worry.  They are just batting around ideas.

Then, fiancée got big brother to try on some of the hats at the tea house.  I SO wish I could post those pictures.  He loves her so much.

We went into the village to do a bit of shopping.  Fiancée had never touched snow.  She had not petted a horse.  We not only made sure she petted a horse, we took her on a carriage ride in the snow.  It was so breathtakingly beautiful. It was one of those quintessential days that you think about when life is feeling hard. We had lots of those days together before.  And we will again.  Believe, sweet sisters. Remember those days and believe they will be ours again.  They will be.  Maybe a polar bear will not pull our sleigh in the snow, but as long as we are together, it will be magical.  Xxoo
