To Honor My Sisters

I know this coming week is going to be stressful – no matter what you decide to do.  Just remember, I’m with you in whatever you decide, Purity.

Tonight, I volunteered to lead services at our church.  I did it in honor of you both, my sweet sisters.

Purity, you have a tough decision, and perhaps a leap of faith.  That’s easier said than done.  The time to act is approaching.  I have no doubt you are feeling stress.  So, tonight, my entire service centered around walking with God in the face of fear.  I’ve walked that walk.  But I cannot say that I could understand what you must be struggling with.  Whatever you choose, be smart. Be respectful.  Be careful.  Also remember that you are not the only one dealing with stress.

Bea, watching your sister make her decision must be hard for you.  You must stay behind while she has the power to go forward.  You may be facing more alone for the next few years.  You won’t REALLY be alone, though.  I believe in you, your strength of character and your spunk!  God gave you these gifts.  And there are angels walking with you too.

Tonight, the congregation sang this song about Angels.  We sing it most every week.  It’s one of my favorites.  It’s called, “Shalom Aleichem.”  In English, that means, “Peace Be Unto You.”  The Hebrew transliteration and English translation are included.  I hope the strength and courage I’m sending you helps you both this week.
