You Can Learn to Fly, Purity

Purity,

I know you are scared.  I would be too.  I’m glad I don’t have the decision you have to make: stay or go?

Grandma and Grandpa were so good to me.  We were like the three musketeers.  I didn’t leave home until I was over thirty because they were so good to me and we were so close.

But, In some ways, I envy you.  Sometimes, I wish that they had NOT been so amazing.  I might have made more of myself if I’d had to.  This is such an opportunity if you chose to see it that way.

And like you, I believe we (Grandma, Grandpa and I ) were together in a former life.  I believe we were ripped away from each other (as you and I were).  So spending time with them was/is VERY important to me.

Spending time with you is uber important to me too! I just can’t wait til I get to see you.  I know “you have conquered yourself so beautifully.”

Until then, you are like a baby bird – not sure of your wings, but wanting, so much, to fly.  You will learn to fly little bird.  Even as you fall to the earth.  Keep flapping those “wings” and you’ll pull yourself heavenward.  Thanks Maddie and Tae.  I love your song, “Fly.”
