Be a Pretty Woman

This song is sung by Roy Orbison.  It became kinda special to me when I saw the movie of the same name in the 1980’s.  My boyfriend at the time was very good to me.  One example of his sweetness was what he did after we saw the movie.  We were in the grocery store getting stuff and he insisted on buying me roses.  I guess the scene where the rich guy buys the gal what she wants in Beverly Hills inspired him.  We are still friends.  I talk to him on Facebook from time to time.  He’s married now and a noncommissioned officer in the Air Force.

Today, I’m getting my bedroom fixed up.  Gotta unpack all my clothes and get them organized and put away.  I also need to find the dress I plan to wear on Tuesday night for my performance at the church.  I’ll go out to get my nails done too (after I’m done hanging up all those clothes.) I don’t wanna break a nail or mess up the artwork of the manicurist. Time to get pretty.  Maybe you could have an at home spa day? Give your sister a manicure.  Grab some mayonnaise from the fridge (ask permission of course) and deep condition your hair.  Or make yourself a salt bath (see post from October entitled: Halloween Fun: Become a Kitchen Witch) and get your feet super soft.  Time to get beautiful girlies!  My audience awaits!
