Another Biting Love Song

https://annmorrislighting.com/kafn4v5 It’s hard to keep finding new love songs, but I do find them. I know they can be hard to hear sometimes. The cold hard truth of our situation is often biting and painful.  I know you both know I do some acting every once in awhile.  About 26 years ago, I was in a play called Dracula.  I played the heroine, Mina Harker.  Mina is a very intelligent character.  She helps bring Dracula down.  She does get bitten by him several times, but she uses this to her advantage.  It is through Mina’s strength and perseverance that the heroes finally destroy Dracula.  This song comes from the 1992 movie Bram Stoker’s Dracula.  Annie Lennox sings a song of a love that transcends time and distance.  In this version of the story, Dracula and Mina were married centuries before, but they were parted by the cruel injustice of war.  But the feelings for Mina from her adoring Count are very great and everlasting.  He loves her,  He loves her beyond life and death. Is it possible to love someone so long? I believe it is.  Someday, I’ll tell you the story of my other life with Grandma and Grandpa.  We were torn away from each other by war and violence.  Perhaps that’s why we were so close in “this life.”  We knew how lucky we were, just to be together…again.  I believe it is possible, sweet sisters.  I believe WE were together before.  Perhaps as friends, perhaps as more.  Our love has transcended time and distance before.  Why not again?! 🙂
