go to site Tonight, I went to my friend Mary’s house so we could celebrate Succot as a community. She and the Hebrew School class decorated it with garlands of leaves, grapes, apples and other fruits. It was a harvest of fun and friends. Here we are singing a beautiful song called “Mayeh Feh Hayom, Shabbat Shalom.” My friend Mary gets the lulav and etrog and shakes them in all directions in order to spread blessings north, south, east, and west, backwards and forwards up and down. Yeah, we take it all pretty seriously. Why? Cause it’s fun…Shaken the Lulav.
