That’s the Way it Is!

UGH!  It was so good to see you today!  I saw the sweatshirt from a distance so you were easy to spot.  That helped a lot.  Your hair is SO long!  I tried to facilitate a good reason for us to talk for a few minutes.  You’d be a good actor.  You played “the scene” very well.  I hope you enjoyed your lunch.  I thought it was good.  I ate with the other teachers.  I didn’t put any gifts in as I didn’t want to give you anything you’d have to explain to anyone.  I also left before school let out as I’m sure the traffic after is a nightmare.  I know who the drama teacher is for next year so I can try to set up another visit in the fall.  I just refuse to lose you, sweet girl.  And that’s the way it is!
