There’s Always that One Friend

Today was a better day.  I do get a bit more irritated when Aunt Flo comes to visit.  I do enjoy Thursdays.  The weekend is almost here so you’re making plans with friends and family.  Hump Day (Wednesday) is over.  My students did “Mountains of Pain” this afternoon for PE.  They loved it!  And it was so easy!  All I had to do was demonstrate and then watch that they did not hurt themselves.

There's Always that One sister

You know, as “that ONE sister” who tends to bend the rules, let me let you in on a few facts:

  1. When you turn 18, you can legally check yourself OUT of school and leave.  You are an adult -after all.
  2. You can also request to see your records in the office – if you need them.

There are lots of of other new things to know about once you hit the big 1-8.  Ask your friends, but also check to be sure the information is accurate.  Check the accuracy of MY info too.  I don’t claim to know it all.  But I can point you in the right direction.  Don’t forget to read the link on the Granite High website about Turning 18.  It looks like this:

Just because we are related doesn’t mean I’m not your friend too.  This is an older song, but a very cool one about Friends being there for each other.  My schedule is pretty packed, but I can get out if I need to.  When Grandpa went to the hospital a few years ago, they called me at work.  I beat the ambulance there.  Pretty good!  Huh!  Yes, I’m here.  And ready (or not) as you wish.  I love you.  XXOO
