One place I was very keen to go to was the Tower of London.  It’s been a historical place in Britain since 1066.  William the Conquerer built it.  It was a place where many people were imprisoned and tortured through the ages.  It’s considered a world heritage site, which means it’s not only important to English history, but world history too!  You’ve probably read about it in your history classes.  Anyway, it was very cool!
