Stairway to Heaven

I had a dentist appointment today.  The good news is, I’m keeping all my teeth.  But I gotta take better care of them. My teeth aren’t too sore.  Which is surprising considering the hygienist gave me about TEN shots.  I know, right!  Crazy!  But I felt very little pain.  The hygienist did half of my mouth and will do the other half next time.

This appointment reminded me of something… If ANYONE thinks she might be moving out of her parent’s house, it would be a very good idea to get all her medical appointments completed BEFORE she goes.  Why?  Well, I’m not sure how much health insurance is going to cost.  You really don’t want to do without it.  What if you get the flu or have an asthma attack?  We have to be able to take you to urgent care.  We will get you some, for this reason.  But if you can get your eyes checked (and glasses renewed), get your dentist appointments finished up, and have your yearly physical exam before you move out, that would be great!  It isn’t HUGELY important.  But, it would be helpful.  It would give us some time to shop around for some quality health insurance that I can afford.

The dentist had a fondness for Led Zepplin.  He had the band’s music piped through his office. I’m not as familiar with hard rock music. But this song, “Stairway to Heaven,” is considered their #1 song.
