The girls danced in their seats, sang, and laughed all the way down the interstate.

It wasn’t long, therefore when they could see the ocean.  They had made it to the Pacific Coast Highway. Now, it was smooth sailing up the coast.  Purity and Prudence changed places in Santa Barbara and the girls kept on driving.

“NOOOOO!” they said in unison.

But first we need to get to our hotel.  They drove through the city and up to a place called Nob Hill.

“Look at THAT place!  It looks like a palace!” remarked Purity.

“Do you think so?” asked Prudence.  “That’s our hotel – The Fairmont.  For the first time on the trip, the girls were speechless.
