Latino Art

Saturday is my day to go exploring the world.  I handle no business on this day.  I don’t even make my bed.  Today, one of my students is participating in an Aztec dance down in LA so, I’ve decided to make a day of it and go “down below.”

I started by going to the Los Angeles County Museum.  They had an exhibit of Pablo Picasso ( a famous Spanish artist) and Diego Rivera (a famous Mexican artist.)

Bea might remember that I took her there some time ago.  I hung out there for a while, had lunch and then went to the La Brea Tar Pits.

Later in the evening, I drove to East LA to see my student dance.  This is not her dancing as I cannot put pictures up of students without permission.  But the dancing is very similar…
