Grandma and Grandpa’s Wedding March

On November 4, 1967, your grandparents were married to this song in a church in Erie, Pennsylavania.  It was a tough day for Grandma in some respects.  Her mother had threatened NOT to show up to the wedding as she did not like Grandpa (imagine that!?) Grandma had red/rose bridesmaid dresses (which her mother also did not like).  Her mother also wanted Grandma to walk down the aisle to “Here Comes the Bride.”  Grandma wanted to walk toward Grandpa with a more classical song, so she chose this one.  Grandma and Grandpa had a bridal tea after the wedding in place of a reception.  Then, they got on a plane for the tropical island of Bermuda.  Whenever Grandma hears this song, she smiles.  This is her song.  I share it with you now so that you know more about the people who love you so much.
