I’m not sure if you are starting back this week.  I still have two weeks.  But, I’m already thinking about it it.  I’m kinda excited about it.  I’ve decided to go it alone and make all my own decisions this year.  No working with others, unless I have to.  Going to be a maverick.  (I know, What else is new?!)  And you: one of you is a junior – that’s going to feel different.  You are not the bottom of the barrel.  You are queen of the school.  Not quite king , but that comes in one year. Be kind to the poor sophmore and freshmen, OK?! .  You KNOW how hard it can be.  And Bea is a freshman.  Get a tough skin girlie!  Big sister will be there, BUT you gotta be ready to earn your stripes.  You are the bottom.  But not for long.  Just hold on tight, stay outta drama and focus on learning.  High School can be so amazing.  Do all the cool activities you can.  I wish I had done more: more basketball and football games (I wasn’t much for those sports but watching the game isnt all it’s about.  It’s the social aspect.  Be in the THICK of things.  If I had it all to do again, I’d put myself more in the THICK of things.  You create your life.  Don’t wait for someone to write it for you.  Be Back to School and Do it BIG!!!! Take LOTS of pictures so I can put them in your scrapbook and catch up on all the great memories I missed.  PLEASE!!!!!
